It's such a small thing, really, to thank a veteran, especially a wounded veteran, for their service, but it seems the hardest thing in the world for some people to do.
They deserve so much more, our wounded heroes.
Send them a thank you, and let them know that they're in your prayers.

Words can never express just how proud, we the average American, are of your service. Since early in the Iraq war I have corresponded with a career soldier from W. Memphis AR. He no longer is stationed in Iraq and misses his men so very much. His dedication is just a normal reflection of what 99% of our soldiers put forth everyday.
I hope you have the happiest of holidays and stay safe. I hope you can be home with family but if not remember it is your sacrific that allows the rest of us that priviledge and hopefully you will soon also be spending your holidays with family and friends.
