At any rate, I sincerely hope BHO does not ask that wicked witch of the East to run on his ticket. Then again, I don't think her ego will allow her to run second fiddle. Hell, she'd think she was president anyways, just like she did when she tainted the holy ground of the White House for eight hellish years.

I think Obama will win the nomination. It is almost a done deal. His wife hates Hillary so much that I don't think he will pick her as VP.
What we need to worry about at this point is the Dems getting a veto proof majority in congress. That would make McCain a lame duck.

Well, despite the large warning signs that Obama is heading to a crushing defeat in November, the fix is in. He's the nominee for sure now.
I'd like to thank Obama and Edwards for handing the election to John McCain.
It's just a matter of how many votes over 270 McCain gets now. I have him pegged at 330-350. McCain will win the swing states.

And then the party will fly apart in a civil war. It may very well split into a third party of some sort. Either way, the Dems won't be a coherent political party for decades after this. They have alot in common, both were elected to Congress, Edwards by lying and Obama unopposed, and immediately began running for President. Neither ever served the people who voted them into power.
The citizens of NC were infinitely smarter as Edwards was about to be thrown out of office, but if history is any indicator, Obama will most likely win re-election for a lifetime no matter how little he does for his area.
Not really LogicalSC. I live in Illinois and the only reason Obama won the Senate is that he was up against Alan Keyes. Alan Keyes couldn't get elected dog catcher. Now if the Republican Party had put up a good candidate, Obama would be Obama who? And it would be Hillary as the Donkeycrats nominee.

I beleive that Edwards would have been toast had he chsen to tun for a second term, in which case SC voters are by far smarter that Ill voters who gave us such a vacillator and unproven quantity and shall continue to perpetrate him on us for a long time!!Time to Reconsider Term Limits!!

Seriously, though--I FIRMLY believe in term limits--two terms at the MOST and then get back to your ordinary life and turn loose the reins. Otherwise, we get more of the same and it never changes.
Now that is something that perhaps we can start a campaign to have it on EVERY State ballots by Nov?????? TWO TERM LIMITS.. and GO Home!
