$\"Gravatar\"$ I am against the war. However I agree that there are some lines that should never be crossed. I attended the funeral of a young man killed in Iraq, by invitation, and said nothing political to anyone there because it was not the time or place to do so.

At the same time, I question your labeling this post, 'anti-war left,' which is misleading. I am a member of the 'anti-war left' and protesting at a funeral for a fallen soldier is one thing that nobody I know on the left would ever do. A church protesting tolerance towards homosexuals certainly is not part of the 'left,' not part of it at all.
