Took a quick look at the "Places of Public Accommodation" section of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Network Solutions' action sure looks illegal considering the fact that they allow criticism of other religions.
Ted, I am hoping Wilders sues the hell out of them for it. I hope you and everyone else are writing, calling and inundating them with communications, also.
Murderous Arab bigots get their websites, but those trying to counter the murderous Islamists are censored. Where is this heading?
Here in Vancouver, Canada we are going to demonstrate in support of Wilders and hand out leaflets in front of a government sponsored location as soon as Wilders' film arrives. If you can't join u here in Vancouver, perhaps we'll see you've done this elsewhere when the day comes.

Muslims Against Sharia neither endorse nor condemn "Fitna"; we have not seen the film. However, we find it disturbing that Network Solution suspended "Fitna" website while hosting a multitude of radical Islamic websites, some of which belong to (or are closely affiliated with) terrorist groups.

If they are so concerned about the violence, they why do they still allow Hezbollah and other terrorist organzitions to host their websites? These websites are known to promote terrorism, recruit people, and ask for "donations."
That money goes towards killing American GI's.
Let's get our priorities straight. But let's be fair, Network solutions is not the only ISP that hosts radical Islam websites, they are just in the spot light right now. IT would be great if one of the ISP's came forward and said I am removing a terrorist website....hmmmm
Susan, it wouldn't do any good for Wilders to try to sue Network Solutions. Hosting AUPs being what they are, he's out a bit of money but it could be worse.
Michelle Malkin asked if any American company would host his site. I'm not registered there so I blogged it on Hang Right Politics and said I would.

My comrades and I here in Vancouver, Canada put in an evening at the local library in the centre of the city debating a gaggle of Muslims and dhimmis left straggling from the over-flow crowd disappointedly sitting outside the Library's room hosting the hate-fest featuring Ilan Pappe, so-called "New Historian" or revisionist historian in the mold of (take your pick) holocaust denier. We sat debating those outside for roughly two hours, lunatics and self-important world-saviours who wish for nothing more than world peace and an end to Israel and all other bad things like global warming and high food prices. I left my mates early due to not maintaining my usual good temper and happy demeanor. In fact, as I sat listening to the small crowd gathered around us I turned the metaphorical corner, running smack into an axiom:

Abrogation means the cancelling or replacement of one Qur’anic passage by another. The Qur’an abrogates or cancels itself in various passages and presents seemingly conflicting statements. Believers do not view this practice as a contradiction, but rather see abrogation as a necessary means of improvement to better suit circumstances in Muhammad's criminal enterprise.
Muslims universally fail to reveal to outsiders this doctrine, hiding the fact that earlier conciliatory passages have been rendered null and void for over 1400 years. When outsiders discover it on their own, Muslims complain they “meaning outsiders” misinterpret such writings.
Islam's promoters prefer to display earlier abrogated passages that call for patience and forbearance. When hearing people explain Islam claiming the earlier more peaceful verses are dominant, one must judge between two options; either the presenter is completely ignorant of genuine Islamic doctrine, or is practicing officially sanctioned Islamic deceit.
Muhammad taught at Sura 2, verse 105: 'Whatever verses we cancel or cause you to forget, we bring a better.....' see how useful and convenient the doctrine of abrogation is. ‘Tolerance’ has been abrogated by ‘intolerance’. For Sura 9, verse 5, 'Slay the idolaters wherever you find them,' is claimed to have canceled 124 verses that promote tolerance and patience.
The United States Senate failed its duty to examine Islam. Murder, rape, assassination, beheading, massacre and sacrilege of the dead were all practiced by Muhammad, all taught by Muhammad and have been observed by Muslims throughout their history. Muslims fear what Muslims do to Muslims. There is no other cause in world history for which more blood has been shed than Islam.
Islam is the product of a jumbled, chaotic, ignorant, demonic, immoral mind. Terrorism is not an ideology, it is a tool; but the terrorists kill for an ideology. They call that ideology Islam.
What is stunning is that Muslims believe in a man who told them his Allah (translation ~ Lucifer) rewards murder, slavery, lying, rape, arson, and thievery against other human beings.
Muhammad is specific in commanding that Muslims wage war against non-Muslims. They must be fought until survivors surrender and pay tribute as a sign of their humiliation. Receiving tribute from non-Muslims in the name of Allah (translation ~ Lucifer) is then the true purpose of Islam.
Islam is an extortion scheme. Wherein murder, looting, rape, sex with children, slavery and lying, are by Muhammad’s words and deeds made the pinnacle of piety.
