I agree with your last statement: "Thank God the war on terror is not up to them", them being the democrats.
This will not be a wake-up call for "them". It will be another twisted "it is Bush's fault" diattribe.
The argument is that they've already followed us here, the copycats and the wannabes. The problem is devoting law enforcement resources to these idiots takes away from the REAL terror cells that pose a REAL threat here inside the country.
It's good to see these idiots get nabbed, but we must do so with a 100% success rate, or Americans will die. Whatever laws it takes to pass, whatever measures need to be taken to keep that 100% rate must be passed. The alternative is another 9/11.

I agree, gregdn, and I firmly believe that if our CIA, and FBI and our other agencies could get their heads back out of their...duffel bags...and continue to cooperate as they did right after 9/11 they could better track these people.
AND we need to SECURE OUR BORDERS (are you listening, President Bush?) NOW before it gets really, really bad.
Amy, it's also possible they read too many GIJOE comic books and actually thought that there was a secret underground facility there housing the Marvel Comics elite counter intelligence unit.

Thanks for the mention. I think the 'take away' here is that an alert citizen turned these guys and their terror video into the feds. Remember the flying imams??? If we win this war here at home, it will be up to brave, alert citizens like this guy.
You're absolutely right, Debbie. No longer can people turn a blind eye to the things that they see going on. They HAVE to step forward and report things like this or there could be terrible consequences.
