Obsurd nonesense on the CNN poll asking which party (democrat or republican) is responsible for the current financial crisis. Neither party controlled any of the corporations in question. They simply did it to themselves. The poll should clearly have a neither option.

Jay777 has most of it correct. However, he left out that it was the Clinton Administartion that pushed for deregulation of FannieMae and FreedyMac in 1995. That debacle opened up Pandora's Box to allow those who couldn't afford to own a home obtain one under subprime lending.

The Democratic minority in Congress that blocked financial regulation legislation in 2005 is the most under-reported story on Earth right now.
Not one single major news organization will touch it.
Today the Liberal Media picked up their ball and went home like petulant children because they couldn't cover Sarah Palin at the UN the way they wanted to, with their VILE LIBERAL SLANT.
I don't honestly understand. There's enough of us to put an end to every major news channel and network in this country through boycotts and over civil disobedience, yet we choose not to.
Are we going to wait until the Liberal MSM has put Hussein Obama in the White House to revolt? They've already decided he's won. They have the power to fairly report and give the American people the information they need to vote intelligently.
What will it take, people? What will it take for you to revolt?

This falls squarely on the shoulders of the Democrats. The blood is on their hands. Inexplicably the American people are too blind and niave, trusting the liberal media for their perspective.
The financial crises we are facing in this country and the solution to this crisis are directly tied to the results of this election.
