Why dont YOU report the whole story?
Sanchez leveled these criticisms at SOME of the "msm", not all. He very specifically PRAISED HIGHLY certain reporters for their accuracy, fairness and integrity. Including, for example, the chief reporter for the New York Times.
Funny how you dont mention that, even in a post where biased, incomplete reporting is the subject at hand. I guess you have the same integrity as the worst of the "msm". Congratulations!

I listed the a link to the WHOLE transcript for people to read themselves...did any of the MSM do that?
You didn't bother to mention that little tidbit now did you? You have even less integrity than the MSM for that.
Me? I give people links to read everything, in full for themselves.
So please get over your false outrage. The link on my page is clear.

Not all the media is bad of course. Unfortunately you just need to open a journal and see how they correct they faults.
Spree, I'm sure you will find lots of mistakes in all wars. This confirms its unfortunately too common, but it does not excuze any mistakes.
Sanchez is pissed of, thats clear. And he doesnt have that much right in pointing out these issues. Unlike Chinseckey (?) who did point out to congress they'd need a lot more troops.
However the mistakes he points out are pointed clearly to the WH, the Gov, the civilian leadership.
Its very different saying mistakes were made instead of I made mistakes.
The Gov did not listen to the experts, to their commanders. Believing your correct is ok, but its irresonsible to go with your impressions when you are not knowleageble.
This must be examined because thats the onyl way to learn and take advantages of your mistakes.
At this point finding the best solution should be the priority: more troops, less troops, complete withdrawl, different international force,...

when your critize the media are you making references to Tony Snow and
The FOX NEWS cheerleaders? Are you talking about Gen's Chris Hannerity, Glenn Beck, Rush Limballs, or Ann da Man Coulter, Wall Street War profiteers, or The Beltway Boys?

I am talking about ALL media that will report only what they believe in and NOT everything there is to know. We need good news, bad news and everything in between or else we cannot make an "informed" opinion.
I do not watch Fox news exclusively, nor any other networks news.
I have found I get far better information by going to the source (when they have sites) and getting the information myself.
Don't you?
Especially when we have reporters stating OUTRIGHT that they believe they shouldn't report good news to America.
Examples: Robin Wright from Wapo and Barbara Starr from CNN:

It also shows your colors as a liberal with the name distorting, fox, which tells me that you aren't here to really DISCUSS the issue of media bias, but rather to throw daggers and try to start something.
GUESS WHAT?
Not working, you're a bit too transparent in your attempt.

For starters, his pointing the finger at the media only displays his crummy character that refuses to take blame for his own role in the failures of the Iraq missions.
Second, the "media" is not a single entity. Those who praise him are likely distinct from those who don't. And those comments are usually reported to have been said by others, typically more intelligent junior officers who've actually read a book or two on counterinsurgency. They're reported by reporters, who usually report what other people tell them.
This guy sucks and is an obvious affirmative case that has no skill to be at the level he is. Batallion commander . . . maybe.
