I don't know if anyone else has put much thought to this, but has anyone noticed how the economy has started tanking since our do nothing Congress and Senate has seated? Anyone else think this is much of a coincidence?

Mind you, I'm not saying that the economy is as bad as the dinosaur media says it it, but the dow is down, the housing market is basically at a standstill, so forth and so on blah blah blah. Is it JUST me who notices the timing of these things?

$\"Gravatar\"$ Coincidence...not sure, Mike, but I do know that we are heading for some massive ass-reaming via tax increases and/or non-renewal of the tax cuts that kept us afloat for the last so many odd years.

I suspect that this gives the New Order a so-called Mandate to increase taxes. I also noticed that Senator Conrad, in the Wall Street Journal two days ago, spewed out such BS. He is trying to claim the the Democrat's budget will bring down the deficit. However, spending is going up (it ALWAYS does), so that means hold on to your wallets; we're in for another wild ride in the next few years!
