Gravatar You can bet that the cold hearted liberals that fought to have Terry Shiavo starved to death and to have her left to die of thirst, will not like the story in the least.

This just goes to show that God is greater than us all. I to hope and pray that Christa Lilly is back to stay.

Gravatar What a wonderful and uplifting story! I pray that she doesn't slip back.

Gravatar It isn't often I take a break and post about something other than politics, but some stories just have to be told.

Thanks.

Gravatar My wife's family had to make the deicison to terminate her grandfather's life a few years ago. It was a gut wrenching decision. The only thing worse would've been for the government to step in and prolong his life.

Gravatar Greg,

There are situations in which it has to be done, especially with the elderly.

I personally am a HUGE believer in living wills, so that the patient is the one that makes that choice.

My point here is the human mind, the brain, is NOT something that can be predicted, no matter how good a doctor is, because as this lady has shown.... medical miracles DO happen.

I would always encourage people to make a living will, let your wishes be known in case.

Gravatar Spree: that's good advice. My wife and I both have them.

Gravatar It also saves the family the heartache of having to make such a difficult choice.
