There is a very key strategic point to Congress leaving things up in the air until they return from their spring break, strategic politically, at least; the \"surge,\" which is actually a RETURN to the troop strength of a year or two ago, is working. The new strategies are working. By leaving things up in the air, it leaves a financial gap in which the military operations will have no choice but to be slowed down or postponed, thereby leaving the Communists, I mean Democrats, a way of saying, upon return from break, \"see, we knew it wouldn't work.\"
The whole thing has been planned out like a chess match.
The American people deserve better...

The Reuters article I read said recent events showed Al Qaeda was 'emboldened' Naturally you make the leap of faith that a vote in congress has something to do with it.
I've noticed that any decrease in violence over there is trumpeted on this siet as 'proof that what we're doing is working' and any increase in violence is linked to something the Democrats have done or are thinking of doing. And you accuse them of wearing tinfoil hats!

The idea that any of these people give a damn what's going on in this country requires a real stretch of imagination. Last November you guys attributed a spike in U.S. casualties to 'terrorists routing for the Democrats in the election'. If I remember right, the following January was also a bloody month for us- with no corresponding activity from the Dems.

The only link I could pull up was the last one. The article was about last November's elections which the Ayatollah protrayed as a \"failure of Bush's war-mongering and aggressive policies\" This is hardly an endorsement for Hillary.
On the sweetness site I searched for references to Ms. Clinton and found nothing that even mentioned Iranian endorsement.

Hillary sounds like just like McCain when she talks about Iran. I was trying to find a speech she gave the AIPAC recently but couldn't.
That's because Hillary and McCain both have this chameleon like thing going on to where they will pander to whatever audience they're speaking to, and tell them whatever they think their audience wants to hear.

Note to Greg: all news sources have a bias one way or another, I don't care which site, INCLUDING world net daily has the news, we still all have to weed through the opinion to get to the fact.
Just because one doesn't agree with the opinion does not mean that with enough work, other sites verifying the source, the truth cannot be weeded from the opinion.
Just because you don't like what they say, doesn't make it an less true.
Perhaps everyone should read the update, especially YOU Greg...it is a letter sent to Pelosi from a marine in Iraq.... it ALSO states that SHE has caused al-Qaeda to become bolder...

Wouldn't you think his opinion would carry more weight, as he is there with his EYES ON THE SITUTATION, than Grammy Nan and her ilk, who aren't dealing with the Iraqi's on a day to day basis?
Most politicians in this country don't even really realize there is a DIFFERENCE between Sunni and Shiia, or who is who, for crying out loud, but they're certainly willing to spout off about how they pose no threat to us. Should THOSE opinions be given as much consideration as those of us who STUDY the Middle East and know which players are where?

They are there, they KNOW the facts, the truth while you sit back and watch TV or read the news on the internet as I do... which is why I base MY opinions on what our soldiers and commanders say, because they are the only ones armed with FACTS.
Your take is just that....opinion.
Funny thing is, when a soldier that is armed with facts speak out, people like you cannot stand to see it and try to discount it any way you can.....why?
