Miss Beth I am in tears over the pictures! People need to wake up! This is personal to me on all fronts! I am not Catholic but I grew up in a Catholic area and know many good Christians that belong to the Catholic church. (Its just like any other church you have those that live it and then you have the hypocrites)I have been to mass on several occasions. Once with a friend who's mother could not take communion because of divorce. I am glad to see the church is finally making those in public eye and making public policies be held accountable in church! I wish other Christian churches would do the same. I wish you would post the audio of Obama about the abortion issue (simply a burden on hannity &colmes) where he does not even acknowledge a baby born after a botched abortion and is living outside the womb as a human life! My husband and I have informed many Obama followers of that and they say now with that knowledge they can not vote for him! I did not realize he answered that question by Rick Warren! He clearly in that audio does not see an unwanted new born as life! Obama has gone on record beyond abortion! Couple that with government dictated healthcare and it is not a giant leap to killing babies and old folks because they maybe a drain on our government. Thank you Miss Beth for addressing this!

This is one area I'm very passionate about and I realize I don't "fit in" with other women (or men who certainly don't mind their "leavings" destroyed so they don't have to pay child support), but I can't dictate another's conscience. I can only present the facts.
Susan asked me to write on Pelosi and the Church. Frankly, I hope the Church develops a lot more bite and starts publicly refusing them Holy Communion and/or excommunicating them.
Miss Beth I also agree that you can not change the teachings of the Bible to allow sin our lives! I always hear that Jesus and the new testament changes all that. No Jesus raised the bar and said if you even think it you sin! I wish I could remember where the scripture is that says "woe be to the man who harms the unborn child"! I believe our stance as a nation on abortion has brought some of our woe!God allowed us to build this great nation and he can allow for it to be taken away! That is why this election is so important to me! I do not know any Christian teachings that allow for what Obama supports concerning abortion or the killing of new borns! We as Christians have been taught to look at the fruit of other Christians. Well I am looking at Obamas fruit and it is rotted!

Were my Flemish-French Grandmother still around, Pelosi, Kennedy, et al, would be in deep kimchee over this one. Grandma went to Mass almost every evening. She was the definition of a devout, observant Catholic. This would have had her on the phone to the likes of Tester and Baucus. We are from North Central Montana, OK.
Grandpa was self made business man.A millionaire with an 8th grade education. There was some pull, so John and Max would have had to pay attention. I would have loved it.

Being pro-life is being pro-woman. Any woman who can justify herself in having an abortion isn't a whole woman because women have a natural instinct to defend their child at all cost. When people say you aren't pro-woman, what they mean is you aren't pro-cop out, pro-pop culture, pro-self. That is a good thing.
When people accuse me of being against women, I calmly tell them no, I'm simply pro-child. I don't believe a woman, any woman, is entitled to kill her unborn child for any reason--when she begins a pregnancy, she is no longer a singular being but is in fact an incubator for a new life. If that makes me anti-woman, so be it.
WOW Beth, I asked you to handle this issue about Pelosi because I am not religious and her words offended the Archbishop enough to summon her in for a "talk", but you went beyond the call of duty here and I thank you so much for covering something I felt needed someone who understood religion better than I do.
