You know, if she wants to be so open and honest, why doesn't she just drop ALL pretenses and start using the word "Comrade" in front of peoples names?

Sen. Clinton is that special kind of woman. The right woman for the job "Strong" holding her own while being attacked by six male candidates and two male commentators.Carl Rove described Sen. Clinton as a “fatally flawed” candidate, and this man has been around fatally flawed all of his life. The Republicans will never like her,one Republican congressman Dan Burton is busily amassing dirt on her for a "documentary" that will be released soon, designed to have the same effect as the infamous swiftboat veterans' film. She is a woman who is trying to break a 218-year male stranglehold on the most powerful job in the world. How bitter the American right wing is. The comments above just come over to me as spiteful and full of venom. I certainly can't take the comments above seriously.

I just hope that people do not decide to elect her because she is a woman. If she is unable to prove herself worthy and capable, then get her out of there and let someone who can do the job step in. I personally do not care if it is a man or woman in charge. I want the person that can do the job. She was horrible in this debate. A few more like this and she will cut her own throat. This is not a struggle for women's suffrage. This is about a leader that can carry this country forward into the next four years and do so with honor and conviction.

In case you haven't noticed Starfish, quite a few Democrats don't like her either...hence the fact that 20% of Democratic men say they will never vote for her should she become the candidate of choice.
Those numbers are worse when you see the polls say that 50% of the overall population will not vote for her.
You may be willing to ignore the corruption, campaign finance illegalities and the fraud charges but that doesn't mean others that do not want a crook in the WH, will.
Add to that the FEC investigation and the fact that she is going to have to testify under oath in Paul vs Clinton soon and it may all be a moot point if she ends up being charged.
Strong? They made mincemeat out of her for her refusal to take any prinicpled stand and her continuous avoidance of answering any questions directly.
She is a joke.

Starfish, she wasn't attacked for being a woman. Hillary has said herself that it isn't about being the best woman for the job, that it's about being the best person for the job. Male had nothing to do with it. Frontrunner had everything to do with it. The other people in the race aren't going to stand by while media erroneously says she is the candidate to beat and has a 20% lead in national polls. Hillary has to be able to stand up to whoever she gets from the Republican side in debate. How can she do that if she "flip flops" all the time and never takes a position. We all remember what John Kerry's flip-flopping got us last time around.

Follow up, national polls don't matter yet. Howard Dean was beating Kerry in national polls before any of the primaries happened. We know how that one turned out. I think we might have won with Dean. I think we could win with Hillary, but mainly because Giuliani can't win New York, and Romney can't win the South. Woe betide the Democrats if it comes down to an Arkansas duel between the Clintons and Huckabee. Huckabee will take that one.
