Hey thanks for the link and yes, God bless those Eagles!
Today was a day to turn back the 40 year history of defeat that the anti-war/anti-American left was so eager to recreate.
Not only did the anti-American left fail to produce the crowd they earlier crowed about, but even with all their slick professionally produced signage, they failed to match the spirit of the Eagles who came from all over the country to stand for freedom, honor and country.
It was a great day for FREEDOM!

That is so funny. The 'these colors don't run' people support the 'anybody but us' Bush administration.
Remember Hanoi Jane spent more time in a war zone than Bush/Cheney.

No one defaced any monumentz and no one was arrested for defacing any monumentz. This is not because there was a Gathering of Eagles (what a half-baked, phony sounding name), but because 99% of the protesters were there to protest, not to deface a bunch of stupid monumentz.
Regardless of whether or not you continue to grasp onto the few last remaining threads of your delusional self-respect, the majority of American citizens realize that the Iraq War was a stupid half-assed mistake.
Get over it. Sober up.

They DID deface the capitol, in case you missed the news coverage on it and there were threats to the Vietnam War Memorial.
Try doing your research before you spout the party line.
also, in case you managed to miss the newsflash, the Iraqi's themselves tell you that things are better now than under Saddam.

W.D Russell: it may be true that Jane spent more time in the war zone than Bush or Cheney either one, but I don't see either of them as having been giving aid and comfort to our enemy...

I was there, with the GOOD GUYS. It was cold, it was windy, but by God it was awesome! Yes, I'm a veteran, and it was wonderful to be there with my brothers-in-arms. My son was with me. The sorry little leftards were outnumbered. It was a good day for America! Go tell the Spartans!

Let me put this as plainly as I possibly can. You are an idiot!
Unless you missed the news, some elements of the "peace protesters" did go to Washington with the goal of being arrested. Since the Eagles were on the job (along with many Park Police) they had to opt for the White House sidewalk.
You are just mad because your numbers did not turn out, but Patriots did!
