Gravatar This is troubling for Obama, and I predict this trend will continue. Obama continues to flip-flop, buyer's remorse is setting in, women are not going to vote for him, possibly they will vote for McCain. Good news for McCain.

Gravatar I highly doubt the American public will elect four more years of conservative trash into the White House. People will remember the mistakes Bush made and vote Democrat or Independent - hopefully.

Gravatar Why should anybody be surprised? His energy plan is to inflate your tires properly.

Gravatar Obama is weak, confused, and unpatriotic. He is extremely risky. By raising taxes on business, he'll pour gas on our recession, and lead us into a full blown depression.

Gravatar David Brooks asks the million dollar question this morning.

Why isn’t Barack Obama doing better? Why, after all that has happened, does he have only a slim two- or three-point lead over John McCain, according to an average of the recent polls? Why is he basically tied with his opponent when his party is so far ahead?

If even the NY Times is throwing Obama under the bus, the game is mostly over.

McCain up 10 by Labor Day.

Gravatar Oh, and the latest Zogby poll shows Obama losing support among all groups.

The net result, pollster John Zogby found, is a race that's neck and neck, with McCain supported by 42 percent; Obama by 41 percent; Libertarian Bob Barr by 2 percent; and independent Ralph Nader by 2 percent. Another 13 percent supported other candidates or were undedcided.

Zogby called the results a "notable turnaround" from a July survey he did that showed Obama leading by 46-36.

"McCain made signifciant gains at Obama's expense among some of what had been Obama's strongest demographic groups," Zogby said.

The Obama machine is breaking down.
