As an African American female, I find this all very upsetting. His candidacy is just as historical for us as hers would be for them. When choosing a candidate I was very concerned about the whole idea of bush/clinton/bush/clinton. For people to now support Mccain signals to me that this was not about the issues as Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama are essentially the same on the issues. I believe they are hiding behind "experience" issue to hide their racism.
The only reason the party is fractured because of Clinton's tone through the campain alleging that she and Mccain had the experience and Obama did not. That hard working white people were voting for her !
Jesse Jackson won SC.
Truthfully, if there were no Obama I would have supported her but with him in the race we saw "the Clinton's" entirely differntly than we would have had she been running against another white male !
Why are we asked to pay her debt when she refused to get out of the race when it was clear that her potential to win was nil ?!
Her campaign tried to portray his win as some how illegitimate when he played by all the rules and the continuing moving goal posts by the Clinton campaign !
Then finally her begrudingly acknowledging his win and her big production to conceed.
Obama supporters are just as angry if not more so. Many of us find her to be low and dispicable !
By te way I reside in NY and fail to see how wonderful she's been to us unless she just gave her best efforts to her faithful Latino supporters here in NY.

Hillary right now is pandering her supporters to join with Barack Hussein Obama to win the Presidential race. ARE YOU F_ _ _ KING kidding! She now wants us to believe what she had said about him throughout the campaign, for example, I bring life time experience & he brings speeches, he throws: sexism, racism & flip flops won't take public funds like he had promised, he is afraid to debate one on one without conditions due to lack of knowledge. HE DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE HILLARY SUPPORTERS

hey elizabeth, you should go blog shopping. the mainstream media has stopped speaking for the people and is being heavily influenced by corporate interests. it's sad but it's true. there are many political blogs where people are free to give there opinions on issues, as well as put the check on subversive or gossipy columns like this. check out DailyKos and read the comments on all stories. or just try someplace you feel more comfortable with. good day.

I am sorry but I do not understand Hillary Clinton supporters at all. There is a vast difference between what the democrats plans are for the future and the republicans. I was an Obama supporter from the beginning and found fault with many of the things said by Clinton and her supporters during the primary. However, there is no way I would vote for John McCain if Hillary would have won. Hillary herself even stated that anyone who voted for her could not support McCain on the basis of what he stands for alone. For those of you who supported Hillary and refuse to now support Obama. Did you just do so because she is a woman and now you are bitter that she did not get elected? Will you allow your bitterness to overflow into the futures of your children and grandchildren? Will you allow your bitterness to allow another 4-8 years of what we have been living to continue on? Will you feel better if Obama and the democratic party loses and our economic situation worsens along with our reputation around the world? It is a sad day for America if you allow this to happen just because you are upset your candidate did not win. A sad day indeed...

Considering one of the people in the article is an actual former CLINTON admin... your try at denial is actually pathetic.
Elizabeth, trying to portray anyone that disagrees with Obama as a racist is laughable...he doesn't have the experience and the fact is many people notice it and just do not want him running the country because they understand he doesn't have the capability....and Joe Public, need a few more Tin Foil hats?
Hilary supporters, many of them, understand that Obama is wrong for the country and quite a few of them are prepared to vote for John McCain.
We welcome them, even knowing that after the election, they will register again as Democrats unless they have been so disenfranchised that they refuse to do so...that is THEIR choice and by denying their existence, you will simply anger them more.
It is that attitude that alienated them to begin with as well as the DNC completely screwing Hillary over.
I was never a Hillary supporter, but I noticed how she was treated and how the DNC selected their candidate instead of "electing" him.... you think die hard Hillary supporters are ever going to forget that?
Dream on people... you have a nasty surprise awaiting you and if your attitude continues, you will just alienate more of them
Each day, prominent Democrats like Jim McConaha and Valery Mitchell are coming forward... and the bravery of Debra Bartoshevich is being rewarded by trying to unseat her.
The examples go on and on and it is YOUR behavior that will cost Obama the election, simply be refusing to acknowledge those that are using their RIGHT to choose who they wish.
Ignore the Puma's, the Democrats for McCain, the Just say NOBama people...at your own peril.

It is what it is. Sadly, there are still a lot of people out there that are very scared. Republicans have organized and even spent money to design Hillary websites that are only there to try and influence people. These sites often try to use the "is obama a terrorist?" tactic. There has been research recently (on CNN is saw it) claiming that scare tactics, as much as we may deny it, really do influence people. Stay local, spread the word to loved ones, do you own part on your little stage to fight this propaganda. Love.

I can not believe how many people there are who can not see that Hillary is only doing what she has to do....Her heart is not in this indorsement and she knows that it should be her instead of Obama that is the nominee...The good ole boys club decided last year that they did not want a woman and the media helped them achieve that goal..I just hope and pray that all of the Hillary supporters who said they were not voting for Obama has the guts to stick to it....The men think all you have to do is just appease their little women and wait a while and they will do what they are told...I hope the women in this country will show them this time that we are not idiots and we mean what we say and we say what we mean and we follow through. Hillary was cheated and I for one will not let the good ole boys control my thoughts and my vote. Obama has managed to snow a lot of people and I truely hope and pray that the women voters in this country are not some of them..

Susan your bitterness must be oozing from your pores. I am also a woman and feel that both sexism and rascism have played a part in this primary. However, electing John McCain is not the way to protest that fact. The fact that Obama has less years in the political process does not change the fact that his ideals are almost identical to Clintons. Once again I ask you. Do you vote on the basis of a candidates age, race or sex or do you vote based on whose policies are more align with your beliefs? Obama did not create the primary election process, he only followed the rules that were in place. Even if the DNC's rules were unfair do you really think that you are punishing him by voting for McCain? Basically you are punishing your children, grandchildren and all of America by subjecting them to more years like what we have just experienced. I am sorry but I just don't see how this makes any kind of logical sense.

Hillary was not trashed! This elecion is not or should be about men or women it should be about what is best for "all human beings" for the best interest of all Americans period.
There are winners and losers!
So vote for McCain World War 111 that he as already mention and in videos and the "draft" that he has also said! McCain wants women--- well McCain will get them if he wins---the Draft is coming back-- women, mothers men, fathers---kiss your babies-- I am a grandmother, but I will raise my grandchildren if I have to!
women cry for equal rights well you got it!! It is not about men or women it is about what is the best interest for "all human beings"!
It takes no intelligence to start a war and anyone can start one, right women. But it takes high intelligence to prevent one before it starts---NOw THAT IS what you call "WINNING"--McCain!!God Bless America

Anyway, I have contributed to Hillary's campaign debt and I'd like to say why. Simply put, we wanted her to stay in...Millions begged her to keep going and so she did. She wouldn't have this campaign debt if it wasn't for us supporters who asked her to keep going. So in my opinion, I owe it to her. She did her best for us. Time to anty up one more time.

Jiminy Christmas , three days in conferences and a crashed laptop and I come back to this absolute insanity? Where do I even start?
Stan, you are either blind, stupid or both. This is a CONSERVATIVE blog site. If you want to spew you insane liberal drivel, leave. If you want to discuss issues as a rational person, stay. Oh, and if we don't like what you say? You're subject to being deleted, censored and/or banned--depends on our mood.
Mary, you get a clue. Clinton is a lying, thieving, sexual predator, rapist, BASTARD. And his wife is no better in her own way. Trouble is, BHO is quite a bit younger than either of them and it seems his only experience is seeing if he can surpass them in a short period of time. BHO calls everyone a racist. Now, you can either recognize that fact and the fact the DNC is approving of this behavior, shrug it off and go on, or you can keep pointing out the obvious insanity of your party over and over again. Becomes rather tiresome after the first 500,000 times or so.
And, to all of you here incapable of actually reading and comprehending a blog site and being able to correctly decipher whether it's a liberal (SPIT) blog or conservative, to those who feel they have to continually point out the obvious because they have nothing better to say, or who just want to spew nonsense, understand this--you do not have freedom of speech here. We monitor and moderate. If you don't like what we say, how we say it, or when we say it, go start your own blog.
Ignorance, foolishness, nonsense, stupidity--in short, ordinary left talking points--are not allowed to stand and are subject to deletion, censoring or outright banning.
Now, why don't all of you go read some of the articles here and see if you comprehend them.

And I thought I was busy! This is my vacation and I'm spending it in education overload (back to work and sanity on Monday, though). And could I just limit myself to my own regional conference? OF COURSE NOT! I had to work the state bar convention and hit some bar conferences on some interesting new software coming out as well. I swear I'm a glutton for punishment.
Glad to see you made it home safe and sound!

"Will you feel better if Obama and the democratic party loses and our economic situation worsens along with our reputation around the world?"
Anybody with half a brain realizes at this point what the friggin Demorats really are.
They will tax us all in to poverty while letting illegal aliens and other groups take over. They don't care as long as they're in power.
In the 2+ years since the Demorats took over CONgress with a majority, thanks largely to asshole Republicans sitting out the 2006 election, they have given us what exactly??
Check prices at the gas pump you idiots. Before Demorats ruled with their absolute insanity gas was under $2.50 a gallon. Now it is well in to $4.00 a gallon.
Please tell me what this worthless Demorat led CONgress has accomplished besides renaming post offices and why this CONgress is the most unpopular it has been in decades.
Why should we as Americans give a shit what the world thinks about us??
Do you really want another 4 years of Demorats?? Hmmmm???
The line of bullshit the Demorats have sold to the American public for decades makes me sick and I used to be a Demorat. Wake up you dumb asses.
Demorats don't care about you! They only care about power and will do whatever it takes to get it including lying to you.

The "country" didn't make a mistake, Lisa--your own party did that and only after she tried to manipulate the rules to suit her purpose--as all democrats do (i.e., the 2000 election with gore and the 2004 election with kerry). Y'all can't seem to follow rules set down on the books and when you lose, you cry foul.
If you can't follow the simple rules of an election, why should we trust you with the laws of the land?

As an African American college educated female, I find Barack Obama's pending nomination to be an insult on my intelligence and regardless to how close his policies are suppose to be to Hillary's I can not vote for him because I do not know him because he does not have a public record that I can research and I do not trust what he says as he is just another politician saying whatever it takes to be elected. I know what McCain woulfd do and have no idea of what Obama would do...Most importantly I don't think Obama has what it takes to keep America safe. Hillary was the best candidate and she won the popular vote. I can't cast a vote for inexperienced Obama. I will vote for McCain in November.

Allison, as a African American Male I have to say that your refusal to vote for Obama just on the strength that you know little about him is totaly untrue. " You know what McCain will do?" Do you?. Well, if what he says is any indication of what he will do, any rational thinking person would realize that at this time in our nation with what wev'e been through, MCCain is the last thing the country needs. "Hillary won the popular vote?" Did you actually follow the news for the facts are are you just listening to sound bytes? Do your research. Hillary did not win the popular vote. It was Hillary's math that discounted caucus states and counted Florida and Michigan without the DNC's ruling.
You need to "check yourself". Trade in you college degree for a little self love and respect. Because your true feelings as an African American woman are perplexing and sad to say the least.

People need to think of experience and I believe McCain will do a great job, and knows what he is doing. Obama has been bought out with PAC money, even though he says he hasn't - HE HAS! Tons of it. I don't trust what he says, or believe he is the right man for the job of President of the US. Too risky! We need someone whose heart is into this, not his ego. Cindy would do great too! Go McCain!

No, my facts are quite correct--research below the talking points shows the truth of the republicans and the lies of the democrats, including gore ordering the florida secretary of state to commit a felony. When a lie is repeated often enough, gullible people ("sheeple") believe it automatically and without question. Do the research.
Yes, this country has been in much worse shape before and if you let go of the BDS long enough, again, you would see facts, not lies perpetrated by the dems. As to who put us in this alleged trouble, yes, it was the dems and the media.
Now, define PRECISELY what kind of a mess this country is in and back it up with verifiable facts.

Mike4Obama- I followed the primary ....Hillary won the popular vote...Some blacks are voting for Barack just because he is black, based on your comments it sounds like you are one of them. My vote is too precious to vote for someone who is not qualified just because they share the same race as I do. So to you, my African American male friend, I have a right to my opinion and you have a right to yours. I will vote for John McCain because I think he will keep America safe. Beth, for every fact that you have, I have another to substatiate my claim. It could take weeks of debating. The only claim that you make that I agree with is the one about the media. It will destroy this country..hence my point. You are also very gullible if you believe all the lies that you are hearing. I have done and continue to do my research every day. Both parties have made mistakes, but eight years was a long enough time in the White House for the Republicans to have made a difference in this country. Don't blame the Dems for spending trillions of dollars a year on a war that we have no business being in.

Either provide facts and sources or don't post. It's that simple. We simply will not tolerate the bullshit, outrageous lies anymore and if you refuse then you show yourself to be in the same camp with the liars who dish it but can't take it.
