I am so happy that this bill is dead (at least for two years) I have been called a racist more times in the last few weeks than the first 49 years of my life. I am still having problems with figuring out what makes it a racial issue. In my mind this bill was wrong because if we are to be a nation of laws we have to enforce them. If this violators of this particular law are forgiven what other laws. At the very least I have a ticket that should be fixed.. I am also trying to understand why ANY congressperson supports illegal immigration. They are supposed to be representatives of the voting taxpaying public. Those who supported that bill chose law breakers over their constituents.
Finally I write this while watching what is going on in Scotland today. If that isn't a message that we have to protect our boarders I don't know what is. Step one HAS to be protecting the boarders.

They call us racists because they cannot argue the points on merit, so they do what they always do, scrwam loudly, call us names and avoid any actual FACTS.

Get used to it, they are very good at that.
