I would give ya my plausible explanation but yours is far kinder.
I can particularly attest to the first segment of what suffers under this war funding issue. I work on a military post as a federal contractor and our hands are tied because the Congres is still sitting on it's ass to make a political point.
Rest assured, we military families get the political point: Dems don't care about military families or the troops. Actions speak louder than words.
Oh, and "money for defeating the largest killer of American troops in the Global War on Terror (EID) will run out for the Joint Improvised Explosive Devise Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) on December 1st.

Well, I counted at least three republicans on the list: Gordon Smith of Oregon; Chuck Hagel of Nebraska; and John Voinovich of Ohio. Try really hard Spree to make this into a partisan thing. There are republicans who support it too.
The 54 United States Senators who voted this way are simply echoing the 63% of Americans according to the latest Rasmussen Poll who want to withdraw all the troops from Iraq in this next year.
We shouldn't have invaded Iraq in the first place. However, now that we are there, I (and most of the American people) believe we need to leave there in an orderly fashion. Since the President won't compromise, the only alternative is to fight this fight with budget bills.
Oh, and call us all "unpatriotic and disloyal" too. The only problem is that by that definition 63% of Americans are not loyal. If you believe that you really are on another planet.
That's three RINO's on a list full of Democrats, mark, hardly something to point out as being "it isn't all Democrats." No, they all aren't, but the OVERWHELMING majority are.
Go back and take a look at the 2006 elections again. The NUMBER ONE ISSUE was NOT the war. Research it, don't get sucked in by what the dinosaur media tells you.
Oh, and by the way, mark, I've said it before and I'll say it again: NO MEMBER OF CONGRESS OR THE SENATE IS IN THE CHAIN OF COMMAND other than whatever rank they hold as reservists.

I was speaking about the issue, there was mention of the Democrats nto supporting the troops, so I offered facts showing who really doesn't.
My website is not a "blog", I've had it for years. I offer information there mostly with very little opinion.
I do not even read blogs unless a link sends me there.
