I noticed today that many of my neighbors now have theirs secured to their mailboxes instead of stuck in the yard...I wondered if there was a proplem because I kept seeing the signs and then not seeing signs and then seeing them again! LOL! Must be drive by vandals....
Someone, I will not accuse falsely, has defaced my McCain/Palin bumper sticker 3 times now. Fortunately, I bought 12 of them.
And my yard sign is in a very safe area. Within reach of my Nova.
(My Nova is a full blood timberwolf.)
But, I still expect more stupidity, before this is over.

Weird. Because some kid in Ohio just got caught with a hundred Obama/Biden signs and I don't see you guys complaining about that. It happens on all sides. This isn't news.
Actually, Alysia, every conservative I know would be apalled that anyone would trespass and steal another's property, including campaign signs for the other side.
I bet that kid in Ohio, who probably has conservative parents, will be receiving the punishment he deserves, You betcha!

After hearing about the theft of McCain Palin signs, I had the EXACT same idea for a replacement sign if it happened at my house (minus the gun referrence). That's a WEIRD coincidence!
I personally, am appalled at any trespass on anothers property.
But in these days and times, turning the cheek, just does not somehow seem a good option. Years ago, I could proudly post any sign, or bumper sticker, expressing my preference, with no repurcusions, doesn't seem that way now. I have a family to protect. I would never use a gun for a simple sign.
But I can be a little intimidating. But then, I live in a bad neighborhood.

Well, his parent is a conservative and they're not appalled because he said its "what boys do". I'm just saying that this story is not news to get riled up over. It happens on all sides, and this website does nothing but nit pick from the litter and demonize Obama supporters. We all have our reasons, and our philosophical differences, but I see very little ehancing of the actual debates at hand. And, as Adams once said, facts are stubborn things. I support Obama based on the record. Conservatives like to talk about looking at the record but I know of none that do. Not on vets issues, not on the economic record of our past democratic presidents. (Yeah, Carter was the democrats Bush. Everyone's got SOMEONE who did a bang up job once.) But Roosevelt saved capitalism, so there ya go. You'll call every other thing Roosevelt did Socialist but not let everyone in on the little secret that he saved capitalism in this nation. With the exception of Carter with the economy, I am proud of Clinton's record. I am proud of Obama's ratings from our major vets organizations and voting record more for our troops. I am proud of his temperament, his way of gathering even opposing opinions before making informed choices. I am glad Powell endorsed him. And Scott McClellan. Hooray. Yes we can!
