there is a fine line between teaching your children the precepts of god, faith, the bible, etc. and brainwashing. the islamists engage in the same type of indoctrination as the phelps. or jonestown. or waco. or, well you get my point.
it is imperative that children are taught about religion. it is just as imperative that in teaching children about religion you educate them that it must be a personal decision for faith and the following of the precepts.

We all want freedom for our religious views, but its a two way street...
The issue is child abuse. In my opinion, these people place the children directly in harm's way. They are made to carry or stand beside signs depicting the most controversial of messages in a highly emotional environment. They are next to the street, as is shown in the video. They are in the hot sun. And the free speech of the adults equates to obscene language and explicit sexuality to which children should not be exposed, in my view. The ideas of the group are appalling, but defensible in our legal system. The fact that this group is being held accountable for practices which are illegal is heartening.
