As a middle aged woman who voted for Clinton, I will vote for McCain as I sincerely believe that Obama would literally destroy more of our way of life. CLINTON VOTERS; MCCAIN WILL MOST LIKELY BE PRESIDENT FOR ONLY FOUR YEARS IF HE IS ELECTED IN NOVEMBER, SO VOTE FOR MCCAIN, THEN WE WILL AGAIN HELP CLINTON IN 2012!!

Awww, but Ms. Caldwell, you, as a middle-aged (white, right?) woman, insufficiently describe "our way of life." As we know, those who "WILL MOST LIKELY BE PRESIDENT FOR ONLY FOUR YEARS" (really, at whom do you shout?) can do a lot to a "way of life" we once cherished: ask the soldiers, ask the school teachers, ask the polar bears.
I would have voted for your "SUPER NOMINEE" had she been the nominee, as "our way of life" is rather important to me; however, fact is that she signed on for this democratic process and realized a wee bit late that it was better to go down honorably than to win as a cheater. Bless her for that.
Additionally, Ms. Caldwell, if you're unconcerned about things being "REALLY MESSED UP," then please vote McCain yourself, but don't implore others to, certainly not in all caps, which is just "REALLY MESSED UP."

Perhaps you'd do well to actually educated yourself about how the Democratic party selects it's nominatee. It only includes us voters in the process out of fairness. They aren't required to do so. Would you go back to the good old days when (originally) the Democratic Contressional Caucus selected the nominee? Or perhaps you'd prefer the later system, when the nominee was selected in secret by the party elite. Maybe it isn't perfect process, but the only ones I'm seeing whine about it are those who have no clue about how it works. It is certainly better than the Republican's sham nominating system, wherein the nominee is selected in advance and the primary process is only for show. John McCain is the nominee of his party, but less than 30% of Republicans ever voted for him. The rest of the candidates dropped out when instructed, leaving McCain the "presumptive nominee" less than halfway through the primary season.
Mrs. Caldwell, if you vote for McCain you vote against yourself. McCain is against equal pay for women and is anti choice as well. He will make sure that there are more Supreme court business friendly judges like Scalia and Roberts, he will start another war, bomb Iran, you heard him, and he will continue to make the rich richer and the middle class become extinct. But if that's what you want, by all means vote for him.
The 'conundrum' in Obama's numbers is easy to answer. Any American who looks into Obama, what he stands for, his policy stances, etc. can come to one conclusion only; Obama thinks socialism is the way to go and despite the ideals and idea's this country was founded on, he intends to change that.
Change solely for the sake of change isn't a good idea, it's stupid and dangerous - particularly when you don't define that change and what little you have defined already failed miserably in Europe and other socialist nations.
He believes the governments job is to 'take care of people' when in reality that is counter to everything the country was founded on. He believes that people who have worked hard, suffered, sacrificed their whole lives and finally 'made it' (ie. the REAL AMERICAN DREAM) are the problem and must submit everything they worked their whole lives for to the Fed so they can distribute it to those who haven't. It's called income redistribution and it goes against the very fabric our country was based on.
Once the GE gets into full swing and IF the media actually does their job, despite how terrible a candidate McCain is, Obama will have no chance.
This country needs 'change' alright, but it isn't the crass, arrogant and naive Obama that is the answer... it's Congress that needs to be changed. Term limits must be instituted and the power removed from the career politicians in DC who have made their living screwing us over. You Obama supporters say McCain is part of the problem... you're apparently not paying much attention then because Obama is too, the difference is he believes in a form of government that most of us have spent our whole lives against...
Barrack is change? How's that? An endless list of entitlement spending, social programs, and the like? *censored* The only change will be what's left in our pockets when his policies take our money and give it to those who haven't bothered to earn it.
And what Republican would ever cross over and vote for a hard-lefty like Barack? Would it be out of derision? McCain is relying so heavily on Hillary supporters he is ignoring his base. He should be working on convincing his base that he's still got it, but he instead runs around a simpering milquetoast character, trying to appeal to liberals.

Ah, yes, is is so terribly socialist (and to a right winger, socialism is anything slightly progressive and fair) of Mr. Obama to recognize that small businesses in the U.S. are being crushed by a tax system that penalizes them in favor of large corporations and is proposing to use some of the rollbacks from Bush tax cuts to provide them with a tax break. Yeah, the dirty commie!

I've voted democratic nearly all of my life ... Although I don't like a lot of what Bush has done over the past 7 1/2 years ...
there is no way I would vote for Obama ... even if it is the cool in thing to do. I can't get past the way he entered into
Chicago politics ... boasting about how he registered black voters, while eliminating his opponents with technicalities,

Many suppliers won't do business with Illinois because they don't get paid.
Chicago (Run by the Democrat machine) has the highest sales tax in the country. Not to mention the county of Cook (Also known as Crook county).
Where does the money go? Not to the potholed roads and not to really fix the education system (50% drop out rate in Chicago). I just wonder how much of our tax money goes to pay for services to illegal immigrants, marked up costs due to having to be in a union to get contracts. Hum, that seems to leave out the Mom and Pop business.

Pease except my apology for the quessing of your age i am just flesh and in this flesh it wars against God's laws.
