You just know, from the snippets presented here, that there was more than a few friendly beers on the "professor's" agenda.
This man has committed negligent homicide at the very least. If it could be established that he knew what the consequences of the young woman's drinking and drugging might be, it would not be inappropriate to indict him for second-degree murder.
Maybe they should check for the Date-Rape drug. Some hanky panky was going on.
Listen to the 911 call and get your facts straight. He said there were 17 beers left not 17 already gone. That leaves 7 to be already consumed and he had one.
Did you attend math class? Since when does a case have 25 beers in it? And who said it was a case?

Here we go splitting hairs,,, aside from the teacher student relationship rules they school may have had in place they were both adults... so this is no different than any other OD when others are present...
Yes, they were both adults--agreed. However, there is gross irresponsibility on the part of the teacher--he went to bed while leaving her alone to continue indulging? And, isn't cocaine just a tad illegal anyway? I won't comment on the intimate--or lack thereof--relationship between the two, because I don't know about it. But here we have a pair of adults indulging in an illegal substance and mixing it with alcohol, and the older, presumably more responsible adult goes to bed and leave the other to continue indulging.
That alone stinks. Then he lies to the hospital and her family can't even be notified of her death until a protracted period of time has elapsed. How would you feel if this were your daughter, for that very fact alone? You're worried sick, you've filed a missing persons report, then you find out she's dead--and you would have known sooner had this teacher "manned up" and not lied to the hospital.
I'm not defending it and if it were my daughter I;d be mad as hell, just stating that this type thing happens all the time and the only reason this got any attention was because of the student teacher angle

WOW! DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU PEOPLE THAT HE IS LYING ABOUT THE NUMBER OF BEERS SHE CONSUMED JUST LIKE HE IS LYING ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE. I KNEW ANDIE AND A GIRL OF HER SIZE COULDNT EVEN MAKE IT TO 17 BEERS WITHOUT PASSING OUT OR GETTING SICK! NONE OF THE PIECES IN THIS SICK MANS STORY MAKES SENSE HENCE THE FACT THAT HER PARENTS STARTED THE INVESTIGATION. SO SAYING THAT THIS IS NO DIFFERENT FROM OTHER "OD'S" IS JUST DOWNRIGHT STUPID.
I agree,I knew Andie as well and there is no way she would be able to drink that much. And FYI just because she was 19 "aka an adult" does not make it ok for this TEACHER to have this kind of relationship with one of his students. This Perv was after her for months, constantly bothering her to go out with him before she finally gave in. I hope this disgusting man gets what he deserves.
