More than that as well, especially considering that only 45 names are on it so it is even more personal.

I don't understand what goes through some peoples mind that they could do something like this. Rock or no, it is a violent act and those that did it probably despise what they consider a violent act in Iraq and elsewhere.

I know this memorial means alotto these people so I am emailing other bloggers asking for help here, I have also emailed some organizations to see if they can help OR have any ideas of who can.

Beevile has a special place in our hearts, especially my husband's as he lived there for a couple of years and loved every minute. So suffice it to say we donated generously when I first read about this heinous act on your site.

Can you offer any information as to how the funding is going? Have they reached their goal? Have they begun plans for the monument's reconstruction?

For the life of me, I can't find any news or info recently regarding the destruction of this memorial or the efforts to rebuild it. And I would deeply appreciate any information you might be able to provide.
