Anyway, this IS a big deal. Same big deal McCain made when the press announced his son was in Iraq. McCain - Mr. Experience - should have known better.
There is a HUGE difference between saying that someone MAY be somewhere AS SOON AS this weekend and saying that somebody WILL BE somewhere this weekend.
Just purely out of curiousity: if McCain was traveling to Iraq/Afghanistan, and Obama had made this exact same comment about when McCain was supposed to have landed there: would your reaction ("an innocent mistake") have been exactly the same?
I guess you all have reading problems. In the post it clearly states that the mainstream media had already broken the story. Re-read the first paragraph, at the very least.
