Not it is not a joke. Republicans and Conservaitves have done the same damn thing against abortion supporters and others. When you fight for what you think is right sometimes you have to suffer a bit. People do not have to support someone who actively works against their beliefs. That is the right of everyone in America, unless you are condoning communism and socialim.
I hope they charge these idiots who are acting violently with hate crimes. After all that would only be fair and equal!
I agree with virtually all of this post, however I note that in the first video the woman is only verbally attacked, never physically attacked. That was unclear to me before I played the video. Also, did I hear the loud shouting pro-gay protester say he was a veteran?
I blame the news studio for trying to get an interview with this woman in the midst of that crowd. Seems like Jerry Springer tactics.

sfHeath, if you fast forward to 2:28 on the first video you will see the physical altercation which comprises of a group riping the cross out of her hand and kinda tossing her. There was a report of a woman getting her head cracked open during a protest, but I cannot validate that. It was on Huckabee last night, I think it will be on tonight at 8pm on Fox News.
There is no way this nation will ever give marriage to gays now. They have shown their true colors and it isn't pretty.
As for people being fired for supporting Prop 8, I understand a few of them are suing their employers for firing them and a few of the gay groups too.
This is going to be fun to watch.
They are definately well within their rights to sue their employers for discrimination. However, I suggest they move on to a different job where they will be better received, or heck get out of CA before it falls into the Ocean. =)
Yeah Katie doesn't that infringe upon those employees civil rights? I mean gays can not be fired anymore for being gay and religious beliefs was already taboo but I am not sure about voting (I think it is off limits).....is this about where you spend your money outside of work? They should sue the crap out of em. So now that we all will not agree that being gay is OK, they are going to take away our rights. Sure all they want is a little tolerance and to marry the ones they love....yeah right! Are we all going to get fired it we donate to Jerry's kids or shop at KMart? (ya know they brought back lay-away and the blue light)

fritz all the members of the gay community are crying about how they can't marry, how they will take to the streets and how they will blacklist and boycott straight America. I call that their true colors.
Being Gay does NOT entitle one to any special privledges. And trying to force America to grant them will only set back their movement.
