As a veteran from a family of veterans and as an American I am absolutely disgusted with the MSM and the Democrats.
The Dems have pinned their hopes of regaining the White House on our mission in Iraq and President Bush failing and they are doing whatever they can do to deliver that failure.
Yes, polls show that the majority of Americans want US troops home as do I but what they fail to report time and time again is that most Americans want the troops home only AFTER we WIN. Americans like to win and we know that we can.
It is the assinine Rules of Engagement, the MSM, and political correctness that prevent us from winning sooner rather than later.
The US military can be devastating when unleashed but as long as ignorant politicians try to play armchair general the troops mission is made more difficult.
One thing is for sure, there will be very very few veterans or relatives of veterans that ever support the Democratic party again. They have alienated a powerful group.
I totally agree Eric, they have.
Military members, Veterans, military families, supporters of the military.
I do not think they will realize yet how many supporters they have lost and will never regain.
It is sickening what they have done to the Democratic party over the last couple of decades.

Yes, Eric, they have indeed alienated a powerful group of Americans. And that is dangerous to do...they are well armed and well versed at taking doen the enemy and the Reidites and the Pelosi-ites are in FACT Enemies of the State.
Their rhetoric is socialistic in nature and their rhetoric is contrary to the United States Constitution.

If there was ever any doubt about the real intent of the Democrats, Reid and Schumer cleared that up recently.
As well as his "Iraq War is lost" statement, he also was quoted saying that he plans to continue an aggressive push for an early withdrawal from Iraq and does not particularly care that Republicans will try to paint that position as a lack of support for U.S. forces.
Asked why, he answered, “We are going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war.”
Chuck Schumer echoes Reid with, “The war in Iraq is a lead weight attached to their ankle,” gleefully adding, “We will break them, because they are looking extinction in the eye.”
They have made clear this war is nothing more than a tool to propel themselves into permanent power, regardless of how many Troops die or the outcome.
Kill yourself, friend.
Or better yet, volunteer to sevre in Iraq.
