Im in the Marine corps based out of camp lejeune. im currently deployed and ive heard of this picket, even recieved a copy of their press release. i hope that they are happy in knowing that i will lay down my life for anyone to be safe at home, gay or straight it doesnt matter. im proud of what i do and these group of people who say they are reigous do nothing to take away the pride and honor in my job as a United States Marine

I just got out of the Marine Corps the 8th of Jan. after serving 4 years with an honorable discharge. The Marine Corps is not bad!! And these crazy people that do all this picketing with their little signs that say God hates this and God hates that... well in their eyes who doesn't God hate?? I haven't seen one sign that doesn't say God hates someone. Apparently they aren't being taught correctly at church because God hates no one and forgives all.

Fred, the father and leader of the cult/family is a known child and wife abuser. Most of the group are family members who live on one big "compound". It wouldn't be difficult to find them. Three of Freds children ran away in fear once they were old enough to. It's frightening to think that a man like that lives in our country. We're used to tyrants in other countries, but not here!

Why are we even discussing these people? What they want to cause controversy, and gain attention. Suggesting violence, and talking about what we would like to see happen to these people is not helping. It makes me angry as well, but I don't loose any sleep over it. If we just ignore them, and don't give them the attention they are looking for, eventually they will just go away. If they want to disrespect the military, let them. Military members are no better than anyone else.
