It does not necessarily mean they heard it from their families mouths either. How long was it broadcast on tv about the assassination plot attemps by those two?? Media went on and on about future assassinations etc. So maybe they heard it on tv. I think alot of parents forget sometimes that children are so very vulnerable and impressionable to adult topics and discussions. The news alone should not even be viewed by a younger audience anymore! Where is the line? I think parents really need to do better policing in their families and friends families!
I am not a fan of Obama even a tiny bit. However, it is disturbing to say the least upon hearing this come from young children, or any age for that matter. I think it would be prudent to get to the bottom of whoever is responsible. It is frightening to think that someone has this kind of influence on children and might even be capable of doing such a thing!! May it never be!!!
If the kids are taught this type of Hate it is WRONG ..wether Obama was elected fairly or not, the fact is that he represents the Highest office in the Country and it needs Respect from the Citizen.; Yes we will criticize his actions, decisionms and tactics that we will soon disagree with but if we are to teach the children to be REAL AMERICANS.. Killing is NOT an Option.

I'm on topic Miss Beth. While these parents are teaching their kids hatred, America is slipping deeper into a recession and our stronghold around the world is slowly fading and some people are still stuck in the 60s. Just making a parallel comparison. I'm gone, I won't come back.

Kim, when you draw a parallel like that, you're right, it is completely on topic. There are more important things to be teaching children than this kind of nonsense and hate. Like Susan, I don't care for stinky (there's a whole explanation behind that, btw). HOWEVER--any and I mean ANY nonsense like this is absolutely ludicrous and the parents who allow this should be ashamed of themselves--at the very LEAST. I do not in any WAY condone violence or "assassination" thoughts. I don't like him, but hey--he will sit in the seat of the CIC and while I will respect the office, I will not hesitate to criticize and question. I will never condone or advocate violence. It's absolutely horrible, and above all else, he is a human being, with a family, and no family deserves to lose a loved one to idiocy such as this.
Yes, there are other things to teach children--and in positive ways at that. Children don't need to be exposed to this hate at all.

Frankly, the Secret Service needs to investigate which child's sick, twisted parent was the real instigator of this, and that person needs to spend some time in jail. This is tantamount to treason, is dangerous, and can't be tolerated, no matter what the party of the president is. We can't tolerate this kind of stuff if we want to live in a society ruled by laws and not mob violence.
