They (the Democrats) were so very eager to get the ball rolling on the elections, they forgot that time tends to bring many things to light. In her case, not too favorable things. As we get closer to elections and this fight gets nastier (it tripled in nastiness yesterday with the slander against Petreaus) you can rest assured that Shrill Hill and her ilk are not going to come out smelling like roses.
Too bad for them, be careful what you wish for and all that.
As usual Spree, you are so quick to want to dump mud on the Clintons, you miss the forest for the trees. There is no evidence that Hillary Clinton knew these donations came from illegal sources. This fellow Hsu made illegal donations. Guess what? Politicians have no way of knowing when a donation is made that its illegal. All you can do when people show up with a donation is ask them who they are, take down the information, and return the money later if an impropriety surfaces. It happens all the time with candidates from both political parties.
Your own GOP is in pretty sad shape right now. Why don't I review the relevant details for you?
1. 22 out of 34 senate seats up for election in 08' are held by Republicans
2. As of today, three GOP senators have announced retirement and their seats are open.
3. Four GOP senators seeking to retain their seats (Gordon Smith--Oregon, John Sumunu--New Hampshire, Susan Collins--Maine, and Norm Coleman--Minnesota) are endangered.
4. Scott Rasmussen's poll says that there is an 18 point generic ballot advantage for democrats over republicans in congressional races.
5. Scott Rasmussen's poll, right now, shows Hillary Clinton leading all republican presidential candidates in conservative Virginia.
6. George Bush has an approval rating that averages about 30% to 31%.
7. GOP ethics scandals continue unabated. We are looking at Larry Craig (nuf sed) and David Vitter who are in serious trouble. In less serious trouble, but worth consideration is the situation going on in Alaska. Senator Ted Stevens is in the middle of a federal corruption investigation. Maybe it will end without his indictment, but its alot more serious than allegations that someone made an illegal campaign donation to Hillary Clinton.
8. Party identification has risen in favor democrats. Thirty seven of Americans now call themselves Democrats vs. 32% who call themselves Republicans.
9. General David Petraeus made it clear the Iraq War won't be over any time soon.
10. Oil prices and a problem in the mortgage industry are contributing to economic worries and fears among Americans.
Good luck getting anywhere in 08'. Will the last republican please turn the lights out.

SHE is the one constantly associated with corruption, finance fraud and criminals. Perhaps SHE should have been more careful about choosing her friends.

Currently, former Arkansas Governor David H. Pryor (D) serves as Dean of the Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ushered through the California Legislature, as a San Jose State, Salinas, extension campus – with help from newly appointed CSU Chancellor Barry Munoz – the politicos co-opt the proposed extension on Fort Ord, and christen it their own personal residential campus, CSU Monterey Bay. They ruthlessly misrepresent the campus and pocket untold millions of dollars in student rents, etc. As the years progress, the politicos perpetrate every education fraud imaginable.
Bill Clinton concluded his Georgetown speech, by saying that the issue revolves around “the nature of truth.� Maybe so, but that’s a straw man: an argument set up to be defeated. As early as 1993, the Clintons began siphoning off the so called “Peace Dividend� to elect Hillary Clinton president of the

If you understand that, why are you not defending OBAMA, who also found himself in the same position with RESKO and with LESS warning than Hillary had - after all, with all her "experience" she should have known to listen to her advisors about Norman Hsu. You cant have it both ways - if Hillary can be excused, so can Obama.
Please Fiona, if you believe that then I have some swampland in Florida to sell you.

Oh and Fiona, if you had done your research you would have seen that Hillary WAS warned about Hsu, but she ignored those warnings so she could have the money.
Clinton nor Obama care about anything but personal power.
