Just a small comment, I just received this very same email translated to french and apparently signed by a Miss Ruth Vogel-Klein, though I wonder if this is true.

Thanks for the clarification Those of us who are patriotic and see so many of our cultural traditions being deleted, ignored or spoken against in educational institutions feel a special need to keep in touch with the things that are being taught. Over the years I have learned that much of the time there is a lot of hyperbole in articles such as the one I received and do try to verify before I start a panic among my friends.

Thanks Dot. I understand and it was blown out of proportion. Being Jewish myself and feeling the need to educate people so that history does not repeat itself, had me digging deep until I got answers.

This article seems to indicate that, while not banned per se, teaching the holocaust in the UK is being dropped in many classes for the express purpose of avoiding offence to Islamic peoples.
