$\"Gravatar\"$ The Left is still trying to figure out how both Palin and McCain beat Obama's Nielsen numbers. They're stunned. They can't admit to themselves that the Republican National Convention was *more successful* than the Democratic one, and that more people are interested in getting to know the GOP candidates and are curious about what they have to bring to the table.

What this means is there's an awful lot of people who don't normally vote who will this year. And a great many of these voters have been brought back by the CHARACTER of John McCain and the ISSUES that Sarah Palin represents.

The Democrats are going to lose...I think they are in danger of losing Congress even...because they think this election is about Bush. It's not and it never was. This election is about the future of America, not Bush.

All the Democrats and particularly Barack Obama have to offer is \"I'm not Bush.\" It hasn't occurred to the entire party that America needs more than a four year Senator with no major bills. it needs somebody like McCain, and in November all those races where Bush isn't running...all of them...are going to find Republicans making the race competitive if not winning on McCain and Palin's coattails.

The social conditions of this country that put the GOP in charge of America in the 21st century have not changed much. In 2006 the GOP learned its lesson. In 2008 they will put the Democrats out for good.

Obama (and his party) can't use the lack of diversity at the RNC convention as a talking point if the DNC was public and the RNC is not. It would open up all kinds of ways for McCain to go at him as well.

$\"Gravatar\"$ the left are still masters at deception--front page on cnn is the same old argument that mccain will be 4 years of bush--with dramatic differences on key issues they keep saying it--then they claim mccain was part of the \"do nothings\" as if one senator with one vote can force all the other senators to stop the pork--but a president with veto is obviously a different matter all together--then their 90% mccain voting with bush---bush isn't actually in the senate--and we know mccain said \"no\" to the tax cuts because he felt without spending controls there was no use--they treat the public like fools--and the media of course--almost no mention of how an obama vote would mean an obama reid pelosi vot--which of course would set up a SPENDATHON that would make bush's overspending look like pocket change--

--the democratic line about black and latinos is also the usual smoke and mirrors from them--I have a lot of black friends from very educated upper middleclass to struggling families--it is a cultural thing--as a group they tend to really be against abortion and the families put their actions where their beliefs are and they help raise any kids--so the democratic pro abortion and obama's abortion till after the 9th month really goes against their fundamental beliefs--however their is also a cultural habit of voting democrat--a black person that would vote republican would have to keep it quiet--LOOK at how the blacks treat CLARENCE THOMAS --and look at the blacks that the bush adminstration has--this diversity line is crap--if anything the democrats are more prejudice than the republicans--Juan on Fox who mostly carries the democratic lines is harassed for working on Fox(that is racism)--the latinos last election actually helped bush get elected in so far as they are also part of the catholic vote therefore gay marriage and abortion go completely against their beliefs--yet as a social group they have a tradtion of voting democrat--so it takes a lot for them to vote republican--yet during the last election a significant number switched--signicant enough to give bush the edge--congress is democrat--clinton was democrat--what did they do for blacks or minorities--they use the diversity thing as an idenitity badge--but there is no substance behind it--mccain's wife has done far more for africa than obama and his wife (he doesn't even help his own family in africa) cindy mccain helps in asia too--and they adopted from india--and mccain gave almost 30% of his income to charity while obama--the one who claims he wants to help--in many years gave 1% and that was to his church which is racist--they talk the diversity minority talk but their actions don't back up their talk
