Speaking of that, the latest polls show Hillary has cut Obama's lead in half and even show her leading in NC.
Chicago has had a very bad month indeed. Of course the Mayor of Chicago is still pushing to disarm everyone with further hand gun laws. Kind of like .. "Okay, now I really mean it." He even spent the taxpayers money to bus school kids down to Springfield to show support for his plan.
I just don't get it. Guns are already illegal in Chicago so what's the deal? It is purely political and nothing else. Just like the school system in Chicago. It is a failure with a very high drop out rate. He plans to fix it by throwing money at it. Money that the city, county, and state does not have.
The fix starts at home. Teach your kids right from wrong. Sure it takes time but it is worth it.

I'll never forget a trip to DC back in the 80s. Even then it was out of control, with areas of no go. I was surprised at how filthy some parts of the city were, how prostitution was on the loose, video porn stores around the corner from the White House.
They need a Guliani for DC. How can our nations capital continue to put up with such embarassing scenes to the world?

This reminded me so much of similar things said about gangs when I was entering law enforcement in the mid 1980's, I had to laugh, I guess they will never learn, the stupidity just swings from one coast to the other.
