My wife and I missed the actual show but we just watched online. My only question now is why did they do this.. I found the quote in your post above but I am still kind of perplexed as to if he thinks this could possibly work for him to pull in the votes?? Don't get me wrong I hope it does but it just seems as if he is grabbing at straws.
SC I personally would not have recommended that they go on Saturday Night Live since they have done nothing but ridicule Palin and McCain.
I did not like the idea but both of their appearances turned out better than I thought they would. I think they were trying to get exposure to the "younger" voters. Not sure if it works for any candidate....
Well, it worked for me. I like him alot better now after seeing this, for sure. He's a funny guy. Didn't think he had it in him.
After 8 years with a President people voted for because they could drink a beer with him I really do not care if McCain was on SNL or if he was making fun of Palin. The times are too serious.
I never have to drink a beer with the President and he/she doesn't have to make me laugh. What I care about is the half baked care Veterans such as my deceased dad are receiving. I care about where my retirement dollars have gone. I care about the foreclosures in the area that are bringing down the value of my neighborhood. I care that my best friend is going to Iraq for the third time in 4 years and leaving her 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter.
So you see, I could care less if McCain makes me laugh or has a sense of humor. What I want is change.....today.......
