Bush is removing your liberties, and there is no possibility that humans will not abuse absolute power when checks and balances are not present. It's a basic tenet of political equilibria.

The people who should be listening to Director Hayden's warnings are the obstructionist libs. But they won't. Somehow they'll figure out a way to spin it or blame Bush for our vulnerabilities or just ignore it. The folks on our side have been preaching about our vulnerablity to attack since 9/11 and before. Every time this administration has proposed ANY measures to help protect us the liberals have tried -- and generally succeeded -- in quashing them. All for the sake of not losing one iota of their precious civil liberties.

The most serious issues facing our nation today, according to the libs, are not the prospects of a possible nuclear or dirty bomb attack on a couple of our major cities, but Civil Liberties and Gay Marriage.

For starters -- Raid the mosques. Close down CAIR, et al. Arrest and imprison anyone who talks of sedition or attempts to undercut our moral standing during a time of war or overthrow our government. Arrest and deport any and all illegal aliens -- no matter what it takes. And slam the door shut on all illegal infiltration of our borders --
