Gravatar These are terrific and I am printing them out now as a good reminder! Thanks for starting my week with such good advice!

Gravatar I'm going to print these out too...I need to read this today!

Gravatar I love, Love, LOVE your blog. You always give me something to think about, or an encouraging word in the true Titus 2 sense. I am glad to have found you in cyber space, and even happier that your RSS feed works to bring you right to my google reader (I have to search for others on Homeschool Blogger). Be blessed today, Karen. You have encouraged my heart!

=) Phyllis

(who is still contemplating the whole blogging thing...)

Gravatar Very timely this morning as I get ready to blog on my insecurities and how God showed me what to do. I do not need to compare my ways with another homeschooler. What someone elses child needs to learn is completely different from what my children need to learn.
Thank you!
Susan

Gravatar Beautiful. Extra-good. Thank you.

Gravatar I echo the appreciation! Great reminders...it can be so hard sometimes in any one of those. Thanks!

Gravatar I'm joining in on the appreciation. I needed that!

Gravatar I am not a homeschooler but found your commandments very interesting to read.Since I help with homework the commandment about not destroying the child's spirit hit home. Also as a volunteer in the schools it is easy to comapre myself with others and of course keeping the Sabbath holy is good for anyone.

Gravatar Thanks all for the encouragement. I wrote that for myself. It's nice to know others were blessed by it too.

Tammy thanks for letting me know that your found this useful as well. I have a few readers who don't homeschool who read my blog. I'm not sure how they relate to some of my posts. I appreciate the feedback and knowing it was an encouragement to you.

Gravatar Awesome, Spunky, thanks! I'm with you all the way. I'm going to share this with my homeschooling friends!

Gravatar Thank you for your timely post. I had just blogged about my February blahs and insecurities when I found your inspirational post. This page is now linked to mine at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com...EPSCHOOL/90055/

Gravatar Very well done Spunky, and definitely something to think about. I'm printing it out for my fridge!

Gravatar This was a great interp for those of us who are homeschoolers. My mantra for 2006 has been that homeschooling is not about schooling at home as much as it is about building a relationshp with your children and gently leading them as they build a relationship with God. You have shared a great tool to use toward this goal!

Gravatar Thanks for this inspiration -- to all of us who are educating our children, whether home full-time or not. I think March is the time panic can set in as we begin to make plans for fall. I've passed your link along to my homeschooling group (of which I'm an honorary member!)

Gravatar Ow. Many of your commandments hit home and remind us how prone we are to fail when we place God in anything other than first place. An appropriate post to reflect and implement preparing for Easter!
