Nice picture. What were you saying to him? Hmmmm? Inquiring minds want to know.

I told him not all homeschoolers "heart" Huckabee. Seriously, that's what I said. He smiled and said that's good to know. I didn't tell him that I wasn't for him either! He smiled and said that's good to know.
Elaina just giggled and wondered why all the people were shoving her around.

I have just one question for you Spunky:
Is his hair as good in person as it looks on camera?

Your daughter looks so cute! Reminds me of my little munchkin in glasses!

Yes, it is very looks much like it does on TV. I was surprised how tall he was too. And his wife is stunning as well. I sat right in front of her as Mitt was speaking. When Mitt introduced his son, Tag, Ann lost her poised "candiate's wife" look and became an oridinary mom. She obviously suprised and didn't know that he was there. Ann stood up and called out to her son trying to get Tag to notice her. She was sitting behind the rope near the platform and Tag was in the audience a few rows behind me. Ann looked like she wanted to hurdle the rope and just go sit next to him for a while. For just a minute, I saw an average American mom who obviously loves her family. Yes, she's the wife of a Presidential candidate, but it was obvious she really enjoyed being her children's mother tremendously.

Let's face it, if the choice was based on looks and personality, Romney would win hands down. He and his wife are certainly a handsome couple. Maybe that's how George W. got in the White House. He and Laura are an attractive couple, but I guess he's proof of why the election shouldn't be based on appearance.
I know Ron Paul's so-called 'quirkiness' has come up on other comments on your blog. Read this in regard to it.

Denise, My ideal candidate would have Romney's good looks and credentials (he got an MBA and law degree at the same time!), Huckabee's campaign abilities, and Ron Paul's politics (mostly anyway).
I have to say that when the I saw John Stossel and the guy next to me suggested he should run, I had to agree.
Maybe Stossel's doing these politcial events to pave the way for next time? I know almost every time I mention Stossel's name, I get a favorable response.

Your ideal is great. I guess we can't have it all.
I agree about John Stossel. I've always enjoyed his work. I find his reporting quite fair.
I've mentioned it before, it baffles me how he's been able to stay in such a great job in the mainstream media with his political views. When you go to the 20/20 page on abcnews.com, there is a link to his interview with Ron Paul and a whole page of Ron Paul videos to choose from. I don't get it -- on ABC no less. It may just be that he is very good at what he does and they'd be fools to lose him.
Who knows what the future holds? I'd love to see him in the political arena.

Liberals hate it when big corporations make a profit unless they're the ones making it, idealogy comes it second.
