Yes, I remember Sunday Bissong at Enugu Prison. Wondering what has become of him now. I was released from Enugu prison in 1997 and returned to New York city where went back into Journalism, editing a lifestyle magazine for people with disabilities called WE. I was back in Nigeria but had no clue as to where Bissong would be. This was 2004/5. I visited Enugu prison but was told he had been released. met Banjo and Marcus in Lagos. Interested in coming along on my road trip Calabar-Lagos-Benin-Burkina-Mali-Niger-Kaduna-
Abuja. But neither had a passport and I could not wait.
NO. Bissong's search is not another Nigerian scam. Its just an innocent mix-up. Fred Eno is alive and well for real. The military junta did its worst. But I had the last laugh as the crazy general died, leaving behind his stolen billions. If years in solitary confinement in a dingy 4ft x 4 ft cell infested with scorpions, mambas and filth thought me anything, it is that true friends are not only those you meet at the windows on the world, Balthazar or even the Waldorf Grill. You can make good and trustworthy friends even on deathrow. I pray Bissong is doing well. Fred A. ENO.
No relation to Brian. Sorry .

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
