Ever notice you never see stacks of DIET drinks outside of convenience stores? I asked around and the only response was, "we're told not to leave any 12 packs of diet coke outside because 'something happens' to it when it gets hot". hmmmmmm...interesting yes, very.

Ah, the great Transatlantic cultural divide.
We never see stacks of diet drinks or any other sort of drinks outside convenience stores here, because, if a shopkeeper were foolish enough to leave them outside, someone'd nick 'em. And, even if they did leave them outside and no-one did nick them, the heat wouldn't have any effect on them because we don't have any of it.
