Excellent post on a classic piece of crass stupidity by Public Whip.

That makes 2 posts on the election in a row...
I'm sure that's false advertising or something...
Anyway, you can find out more about your candidates from http://www.mpsreunited.co.uk/
Only problem with North Down being that Sylvia Hermon is the only person to have added her profile. She was born on a farm in Tyrone, you know. And you can contact her at an address just 10 minutes walk from your house. You could even stop in at Safeway on the way back & get some food.
If you wanted to.
Big Ian's profile is fun though.

Sylvia Hermon appears to have been dipped in wax immediately prior to her photo session.

"I've taken the quiz a number of times now with a wide range of different opinions, and, sure enough, it's told me to vote Sinn Fein nearly every time."
The box marked "I am ...... achieving political aims by blowing people up" needs to be "Strongly against", I think this might be the key.

Sadly, checking a "strongly against" in that box also rules out Nu Labour...

I haven't seen that Sylvia Hermon picture. Maybe her favourite movie is Body Of Evidence. Reason enough not to vote for her in my book.
I notice also that there is a candidate somewhere in England with the rather amazing name of Ed Balls. Maybe he used to be one of those footballing types.

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
