What?

      

According to the gov't "Custodial sentences of more than two and half years can never become spent..." (Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). A multiple rapist would likely receive a sentence of more than 2 1/2 years, so the conviction would be forever declarable.



Ah, fair enough. A one-off rapist, then. Or a burglar. Or someone who used to steal from their place of work.
