I thought I posted already about the inconsideration of these selfish wankers, but my comment has vanishified.
Once more, for the people watching in black & white -
there are lots of us who have no instantaneous method of contact with friends and family in London - I'm in Japan - this kind of behaviour just gives us more to worry about.
I hope those responsible don't go to prison.
I hope they wake up one morning with no limbs and no voice.
Fuckers.

To be fair, the overwhelming majority of net types were responsible and caring: bloggers published essential contact info, sites such as wikipedia did a great job of sorting the wheat from the chaff, etc etc etc. You'll always get these rumours, though: on 9/11 at one point people were talking about 30 hijacked airliners.

Good post.
My flatmate had a phone call from his dad at about 11AM saying that he was fine and was in Leicester Square; 10 minutes later the made-up Leicester Square bomb rumour hit News 24. Whichever cunt made up that one deserves a Phat Beating.

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
