Two questions:
(i)The ritual condemnations by the likes of Galloway et al are literally just throat clearing ahead of the inevitable delivery of the terrorist’s demands
What are you talking about? Wouldn't that require the likes of Galloway et al to be in positions of power, which (with a few minor exceptions) they're not?
(ii) fascist left - as distinguished from the decent left
Is that "decent left" as in the self-styled "Decent Left" who e.g support the war in Iraq? Or is that just meant to be anyone who is on the left and is not a fascist. If the latter then that's a poor choice of terminology. If the former then your implication that everyone on the left is either a fascist or a member of the self-styled "Decent Left" is complete bollocks, (speaking as someone who is neither). In fact I would go so far as to say that the overwhelming majority of the Left are neither fascists nor "Decent Left", but are in fact both "decent" and "left".

Er, no.
The phrase "decent left" was coined by Michael Walzer. If you want to know what it means, read his essay. If you don't like what it means, complain to him.

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
