What?

Heh.

I can remember when calling home to East Anglia from St. Andrews required an operator to connect the call.

In those days international had to be booked in advance.

And I didn't think I was all that old.

Actually on second thoughts it's nothing to do with my age - it's because back in the seventies (yes it was that recently) the phone system was run by the state. Need I say more?

Good point.

Busby was cool, mind you. I had a Busby hat when I were a nipper.

Speaking of which, British Gas have revamped and brought back their little speaking flame character from the early 80s. I had a pack of cards with the British Gas flame on the back when I were little. A nice man in Brighton taught me a particularly good card trick with those cards, with which I am baffling people to this day.

Yeah, I'm rambling.

Cheers.
