What?

Maybe Aaron Barchak's "comedy terrorist" was precient.

I wonder if they speak Dirkadirka like the terrorists in Team America? "Dirkadirka Mohammed Jihad?" "Dirkadirka."

> Maybe Aaron Barchak's "comedy terrorist" was precient.

Well, he must have been something, and Lord knows he wasn't funny.

There's a Viz cartoon in this somewhere. "Abdul al-Fizzle, the crap suicide bomber", or something like that.

Or have they done that one already? It's been a while since I last read Viz.

A Met informant tells me that the bombs were nail bombs, that there have been nine arrests and that one suspect is being sought in University College hospital.

Yeah, I'd heard the nail-bomb rumour, but haven't seen it confirmed on any news source. Maybe they thought nails were so inherently dangerous that actual explosives weren't required?

Lord knows he wasn't funny

Hence the quotes.

First ever suicide bomber to die of embarassment?
"Allahu fubar!"

Uncannily accurate while drinking!

Yay me!

Maybe I should take up darts.

Anyone panicked yet by all the brouhaha?
I think not, Osama. (perversely enough, that's 'king' in Japanese.) But we can hear the music from The Muppet Show, strangely enough.

Interesting you should comment on this mate, I was in london that day meeting Neil Ferris of Ark Records in a club near marble arch with the rest of Janeiro. It all kicked off just before I got into Marylebone station and a taxi ride that should have taken 2 mins took 20 :) Lots of screaming sirens and an increasingly worried looking london cabbie. It's interesting how the cheeky cockney bravado turns into a worrying seriousness when stuff like this happens.
