Students' Union, St Andrews.
...
Anyway, you can probably only get in if you're a student at a Scottish university.
Oh, well. Looks like I'm going to miss you.

Check with the Union. You never know.
Or you could find a student willing to sign you in.

Then a brief break while I DJ at my sister-in-law's wedding.
Can I get a student to sign me in for that?

I can confirm that the 13th Note is pretty much still as you remember it. Still has stuff held down by tape, is still grotty and yes there is even some dried-in excrement on the toilet walls.

JB,
I think you just need a student to buy you a plane ticket. The sister-in-law was just saying earlier what a shame it is that you can't make it. In case you were thinking that your non-attendance was a great relief to us all or something.

I was getting annoyed recently that everyone seemed to be ignoring SMS messages from me. Then I realised I was sending them wrong.

How can you send a text message wrong? Were you trying to use your landline or something?

I can confirm that there will be backpackers there! They get in for free. Which is useful on nights when we don't get a lot of customers, for atmosphere and such.

Do they have to bring their backpacks as proof of their backpacker status?

Er, no. They just have to live there. Nobody else would (except the odd touring band, of course...)

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
