What?

Well, I suppose the logistics could be one reason for the four-month delay between the appearance of the cartoons, and the protests. Someone else suggested that they got the flags from Danish aid parcels. Which would be kind of like saying "How dare you suggest I am violent and intolerant! I'll fucking kill you the next time I see you, and in the meantime I'll burn this label that came with the last box of food you sent me!"

If we are being REALLY conspiratorial, one might suggest that the Western/AP camera crews might have brought some with them to create a bit of "atmosphere".

I wouldn't put it past them.

Be hard to put anything past those bastards. If they can film Palestinians acting out being shot etc and then filing it as news, not much they won't do I shouldn't have thought. (Illustrates a wider truth, don'cherknow.)

Since you call yourself a pedant, Mr Ordinary, I must point out to you that "conspiratorial" doesn't mean "contemplating conspiracy theories".

If you're being really pedantic would it not be Mr Pedant-General as the in Ordinary implies a location such as Ordinary in Viriginia rather than a name. ;-)

No.

All your questions answered.

Thanks, Andy.

Well if you can't get hold of a Danish Flag, a Swiss one will do.

I suppose all the bloody infidels look alike.

Ann Summers has joined the fray:

Hey, weird typo:

"The Manchester Central Mosque has already written to the firm, calling on it to withdraw the product, right."

Is that, like, recall it, right, or, you know, or else? Right?

I suspect it's been lifted directly from the print edition where there might have been a photo, right.

But do I mean right, there might have been a photo, or there was a photo on the right?

Ah.

On the other hand, the Dannebrog is not exactly the hardest flag in the world to mimic; a red tablecloth and some masking tape and there you go, one perfect infidel symbol ready for burning. My question, which I ask simply for information, you understand, is this: do any of these people even know where Denmark is?
