The idea that truth and accuracy are contingent on who is speaking isn't a brand new concept. When the corrupt New Jersey governer, James McGreevy, had to resign a couple of years ago he came out with a phrase "My truth is that I am a gay american", everyone else's truth was that he was a crook who had misappropriated public funds to give his gay lover a well paid job.
Although to be honest I suspect that the phrase doesn't actually mean anything at all, a diversity director has to agitate for more non whites and so buzzwords are thrown around to obscure the fact that she wants recruitment to be based on skin colour rather than merit.

Oh, God, yeah; I'd forgotten that one. Tsk.
Saw an Englishman reporting from Boston on the BBC this evening.

So only jewish reporters filing stories from Israel then? Might get some balance at the Beeb after all.

Except that they don't think they report from Israel; they report from "Occupied Palestine", and don't regard Jews as natives to that region.

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
