What?

Hi,

just spent a few hours reading your posts, good stuff mate.

(btw, As a one time Excel developer I feel your pain)

regards

And in yet more surprises, I agree with every word.

Good piece.

Hi, Nick.

Thanks very much; I'm flattered, really; but... hours? Are you quite mad?

Larry,

Careful. You might get mistaken for an acolyte again.

Congrats! Very nice piece.

It always strikes me how well-named Friends of the Earth are: a FOE of humanity.

Oh, I don't know. I was surpised and impressed when they said that they had no objection to GM in principle and could even support a modification if they were convinced it posed no risk to the environment or to human health. Of course, they're difficult to convince, but there's nowt wrong with sceptics. And it was they who referred me to Prof Flowers, who really knows what he's talking about and whose only real objection to GM appears to be that we're not all that good at it and can get better results with other methods.

Like I said, it's Greenpeace who hold the absolutist position.

Do they not still have pound notes in Scotland?

And of course you have funny money in NI too. But note pound notes obviously.

Which is what I was going to point out! Simply email your fee to me, I shall withdraw it in pound notes and mail them to you.

You can do your jig, then mail them back and I shall pay them into the bank and then PayPal your fee back in money that you can spend. There, how's that for a plan, eh?

Oh, and nice article too...
