What?

I was enjoying that post a lot - until I got to the last bit. All the best to you and your family.

While not as life-threatening as your wife's condition the example that immediately sprang to my mind was endometriosis. A condition that can cause incredible pain to any woman unlucky enough to have it and for which the best treatment is getting pregnant. Which is fine except that it often causes infertility.

Best wishes to all of you.

All the best to you and yours. Funny/sad/touching story. I have nothing in response except good wishes.

Endometriosis is pretty nasty, yes. A friend (and occasional commenter here) has indeed been rendered infertile by it. But she's not dead, which is nice.

Cheerful round here, isn't it?

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.

Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.

If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.

Cheers.
