It's probably* part of working out that this thing on the end of her leg is part of her and she can control it.
* I say "probably" - I have no qualifications or experience to make any such judgement. I suppose I mean "it's my wild uneducated guess that..."

Nah, she's past that stage. Their development's amazingly quick. She is, of course, still pretty bad at moving things with any real accuracy and is trying to get better. It's just interesting that this little dance is done with the left leg only, never the right, and only below the knee.
