So this young girl is sensible enough to avoid getting pregnant, and is prepared to pay her own way through college by working in a salon. Quite clearly she doesn't need the Government's help, which should be reserved for those who are, er, lazy enough to think they are owed a living and unscrupulous enough to game the system to get it?
If we just got rid of all the rules about claiming benefits, fired the parasitic bureaucrats who administer them, and paid everyone a citizen's wage, this girl could put hers towards whatever worthwhile cause she wanted while the others could blow theirs on crop tops and fags. And beauty treatments. (Until they starve or end up on the streets.) Everyone would be happy, and it would be a lot more fair.

"So why do unemployed people need more money on top of their unemployment benefits to pay for clothes? "
To induce them to vote for the party that allows them this largesse, perhaps...?
Though I suspect that none of this target audience would vote at all, never mind for the currently ruling party.

I've shamefully worked 3 jobs simultaneously to make my bills and still foregone a haircut alltogether because it just seemed like an unnecessary expense... And I certainly don't get myself a manicure! Sheesh.

If you're really that interested, here's an RSS feed for the latest comments to this blog. Never miss another pointless argument.
Of course comments are moderated, in a common-sense sort of a way. You don't have to give your email address to post here.
If you know your HTML, you can use <a>, <b>, and <i> tags, and entities, too. If you don't, you can still use them, but with a greater sense of trepidation.
Cheers.
